The Foundation PAUCI is established in April 2005 as a legacy organization to the Poland-America-Ukraine Cooperation Initiative. Since 1999, this Initiative served as a unique tri-lateral inter-governmental program (financed by USAID) aimed at sharing best practices of Poland's successful transition from a centrally planned economy to a liberal, market-oriented democracy.
